Dipping in and out of the Rap Scene, Some would argue that Jaye Cane career is hinged on shock raps and controversial dispositions. But it was only a taste of several controversies that would later fill Jaye Cane rap sheet. Clearly, Jaye Cane has no shortage of ideas or energy, and it's that energy that ensures success in the business of hyping the work of local musicians.

What you get with Jaye Cane …..
Jaye Cane is not a punch line rapper he speaks the truth with a very high commercial appeal. His style is very radio friendly. Jaye Cane has a very unique twist on music. His energy alone pushes some Local Artist If you know him he has a lot of fun and He is a man of many talents. To build his craft of music he sat and listened to all kinds of music from rock to rap. Blues to alternative. In his music you will find his life, his ways of thinking, his heart, his hurts, His joys, His Struggle and most of all...Jaye Cane.
Why You Need Jaye Cane…..
Based on a solid response from consumers- The music is hot! Some in the Brew City hip-hop scene have complained about being ignored by local media, saying that Clear Channel-owned V100, Milwaukee 's largest hip-hop radio station, continually plays the same songs from the same out-of-state artists who glorify sex and violence while turning a blind eye to the diverse collection of hip-hop artists in Milwaukee .
Jaye Cane He takes his music career VERY serious. Jaye Cane is played on radio in four major states. And on internet radio. "I hit the stage in every city I visit".
Now a Jaye Cane is going beyond Milwaukee and letting his voice be heard. "I hit up all of the hottest spots and make sure that CDs or other promotional items get in the hands of all the right people." I feel like the music world is incomplete and there are lots of things that the music industry is missing and forgetting….until then, minds, bodies, and souls of folks across the world will get a taste of the best that ever did it".

CA "YEAH DAT"

Long Beach California is well known for birthing rap giants; lyricist, CA, is continuing this legacy. Not ashamed to admit he has a big ego this West coast lyricist is out to prove he’s as fly in person as he is on the mic. Rapping since the 3rd grade CA has a solid foundation in music sighting his life-long ability to memorize songs after only one listen. A true emcee, he’s been writing raps since the age of twelve.
CA has overcome a very dark past. After being shot and spending a few years behind bars this former gang member has his head set on straight and is only ready to wreck havoc in the studio. In conjunction with Rocket, J Rock and many more, CA is determined to put the West back on the map through the New West Movement. The movement is an agreement between West Coast rappers to help each other out in any way possible; all with the common goal of reigniting the West’s swag. This shouldn’t be difficult for CA who says he’s not selling image—he’s selling himself.
Opening up for Glasses Malone (Cash Money) as well as Technique CA has been spittin’ to the masses all over the place: from The Knitting Factory, Coco Cabana to the Aqua Lounge. Feautred in Kontro magazine, CA is hijacking fans by any means necessary. This summer marks the release of CA’s first LP State of Emergency, which features the lead single “Yeah Dat.” State of Emergency named after the current state of west coast rap promises to deliver some much needed relief with production by Duane “DaRock” Ramos, M16 (Duffle Bag Boy), and Goldie Loc (Eastsidaz). CA is without a doubt an artist to watch.

Producers Of The Music Game. Streets & Trickey

Streets & Trickey - Studio, California
Rickey Thornton Jr. was born June 22, 1982 and at the age of 18 began working on what would become an extensive and eclectic library of music. He was later joined by fellow producer Paul Street, born April 6, 1986 . Together they have created an inspiring collection of R&B and Hip Hop that have concentrated on creating music rather than sampling it. As their artist E Mo praises on his song “Hero”, “Streets and Trickey this beat is like a symphony”.Streets and Trickey, as they prefer to be called, are the primary producers for So Aktiv Entertainment. Together they are currently collaborating with their three artists E Mo, Jay-2, and Krystyle. They are producing the entire compilation for So Aktiv Entertainment’s The Game’s Aktivated album, as well as their artists’ solo albums. Their first major placement will be on the upcoming Paramount Pictures film “Next Day Air” due out Summer 2008. The track is titled “Work” and features Chinye, and independent artist Young Smurf. They are also contributing to the book soundtrack of The Confused Mind of a Drug Dealer. These two developing producers have acted as a team since 2005. Streets was a relative newcomer to music while Trickey was an experienced producer who had been supplying his beats for various local college talent. Fate brought them together when Trickey’s cousin and Streets’ friend Eric Moser introduced them. They discovered their love and talent for music and quickly began to work together. Under Trickey’s mentorship, Streets played catch up until he was prepared to produce on his own. Soon they were able to pool their talents together and began a production pair that will soon be taking over the music industry. The list of artists they have worked with is constantly growing. They have played key roles in developing So Aktiv Entertainment’s Jay-2 and E Mo. They have placed their invaluable input with pop artist Dawna Star, JK Da Future, developing artist Wicked Wizard of the West a.k.a Dub III, R&B singer Travis, and rapper Chinye, a Capitol Records artist in development. They have also worked with R&B singer Armand James and have branched out to work with the rock group Light Pattern. They have received mentorship and done work for Donald Tavie of the legendary group Lakeside.Paul Street and Rickey Thornton's goal to make So Aktiv Entertainment one of the major production companies in America is off to a running start. Their hunger to expand into different genres of music and to constantly grow is what will help them succeed in launching Krystyle, E Mo, and Jay-2 into a flourishing music career.

JAY-2 - Watts, California
James Benson was born September 1, 1986 in Watts, California. He spent his childhood and teenage years growing up in the Nickerson Gardens housing projects being one of eight children in a single parent household. Jay-2 was influenced by his older brother Benjamin Benson to start rapping. Jay-2 has an extraordinary charisma and catchy lyrics that are blended with street wordplay that makes his music instantly likable.Jay-2 is featured on the mix tape So Aktiv With It Vol. 1 and So Aktiv Entertainment’s compilation The Game’s Aktivated. Jay-2 is featured on the soundtrack to the book The Confused Mind Of A Drug Dealer. Jay-2 is working hard on his first solo project and is also overseeing the development of So Aktiv Entertainment’s new artist, Krystyle.Jay-2’s rap career has been one of many hardships and struggles. He began rapping in Nickerson Gardens as a teen and formed a group with a then unknown Jay Rock and a mutual friend. They quickly gained recognition in the Nickerson Gardens projects and eventually branched out but their success was short lived. Due to differences between Jay Rock and the other member, the group split up. Jay-2 then was contacted by his cousin and asked if he wanted to be apart of a group called Unexpected. Through shows, demos, and mix tapes, Jay-2 created a named for himself and everything looked good but then it came to a halt. The group fell apart. Shortly after this, Jay Rock signed a deal with Warner Brothers and this made Jay-2 wonder if music was meant for him. Jay-2 received a phone call from a friend asking him did he want to replace a member in his group So Aktiv. Jay-2 said yes and he was on his way to San Bernardino to meet Trickey and E Mo Tha Thrilla. Though he started off as a replacement, Jay-2’s talent quickly let it be known that he was no replacement. With Jay-2 in the group, So Aktiv finished a studio album. Everything was going good, Jay-2 had finally found the structure, guidance and support he needed to further his rap career. On the eve of releasing their mix tape, one of the group members left. Jay-2 had been in this situation many times. It would have been easy to give up now. He decided to stay with fellow rapper E Mo Tha Thrilla and producers Streets & Trickey and pursue a solo career.Jay-2 is constantly developing, understanding more about the music instead of just rapping. Jay-2 is working on his solo project with the intention of getting a joint venture with a major label. Jay-2 lets it be known that he is not going to quit until he is worldwide on his song Voice Of The City, “I been through the storm, and almost let go, but kept holding on because my city said no.”
E Mo Tha Thrilla - Alexandria, Louisiana
Eric Moser Jr. was born on October 20, 1984 in Compton, California. Eric spent his impressionable years growing up in Alexandria, Louisiana, and as a result, E Mo Tha Thrilla was born. Having roots in both Compton, California and Alexandria, Louisiana, E Mo Tha Thrilla delivers his rap with a southern swagger that has a west coast feel.So Aktiv With It Volume 1 is currently being circulated and E Mo has several tracks on this mixtape. E Mo is in the studio working on several projects including So Aktiv Wit It Volume 2 and So Aktiv Entertainment’s compilation, The Game’s Aktivated. E Mo was recently asked to oversee the entire soundtrack for Keenan Handy’s new book, The Confused Mind Of A Drug Dealer.E Mo’s rap career began in the projects of Alexandria, Louisiana. Eric used his music as an escape from his day to day hardships and frustration. Instead of glorifying the world of drugs and crime that he was a part of, he created music that was uplifting and motivating. E Mo quickly gained notoriety in Louisiana for his uncanny ability to freestyle for minutes. The media, fans, family, and a host of music producers said that E Mo is naturally talented and stardom is a block away if he keeps up the hard work. E Mo’s street life eventually caught up with him and he had to make a choice , stay here with his friends and family and this life of crime or go to California and pursue his love for music.E Mo came back to his birthplace of Compton. He began networking with rappers, producers, and anyone who he felt could help him, but quickly got nowhere. E Mo was told that his cousin Trickey, whom he hadn’t seen in years, was into music too. E Mo paid Trickey a visit and they connected quickly. They formed the group So Aktiv, along with two other rappers, and success was almost instant. So Aktiv was negotiating with Capitol records, but the deal fell apart. E Mo then introduced a new producer, who only had three tracks at the time, named P. Street to Trickey, in hopes of enhancing the music. It worked out for the best. Besides his rapping ability, E Mo also has an eye for talent. The group eventually disbanded with two artist leaving but E Mo realized he had help build something special and wasn’t about to throw it away. For two years now, the passion of each member has challenged their potential, promoted growth, and produced a sound that compliments their talents both individually and collectively. This is due largely to E Mo’s maturity, guidance, and leadership. Like E Mo says in Hustler’s Anthem, “Everybody want know what you cooking up, I’m cooking up another masterpiece, that’s what’s up.”
Krystyle - Los Angeles
Krystal Scott was born November 14th, 1985 in Torrance, Ca. She was raised in Los Angeles and has also lived in Palmdale. She was raised in a solid household with four brothers and one sister. Krystyle’s good upbringing taught her the how to be independent and responsible. Krystyle used these skills while raising her daughter, finishing school, and perfecting her craft as a rapper.Krystyle played a major part on So Aktiv Entertainment Presents: The Games Aktivated. She was relatively new to So Aktiv Entertainment but her two solo songs and her scene stealing verse on “Make These Haters Mad” made her a quick fan favorite and showed she could compete with the big boys. Krystyle is currently working on new singles and doing shows to further promote So Aktiv.Krystyle has been rapping since she was 16 years old. Krystyle’s aunt Tammy, aka Karizma, was the one who taught Krystyle how to rap. Karizma was the one who has had the biggest influence on Krystyle’s career. Krystyle started off in a rap group with Karizma and Ko Ko. Krystyle later met Jay-2 and he and E Mo Tha Thrilla started to develop her before bringing her along to So Aktiv Entertainment.
